Πιστεύω στη λειτουργία των πειρασμών

στον αφροδισιασμό της αθωότητας

στο ευγενές υλικό απ΄το οποίο είναι φτιαγμένες

στην ποίηση των υποσχετικών βλεμμάτων

στη λιτανεία του θεϊκού εξοπλισμού τους

στο αδιάκοπο μουρμουρητό των αγαλμάτων

Πιστεύω στην ιερότητα του φωτός

στην υγρασία της νύχτας

στα σημάδια του κορμιού που φανερώνουν έρωτα

στο θάνατο του καθωσπρεπισμού

στην αναβίωση της ακολασίας

στην ανάσταση των επιθυμιών

μα πάνω απ΄όλα στην τρομακτική καύλα της ζωής.

I believe in the mass of temptations

in the aphrodisiac effect of innocence

in the noble materials they constitute of

in the poetry of glances much promising

in the litany of their divine implements

in the ceaseless murmuring of the sculptures

I believe in the sanctity of light

in the dampness of the night

in the love foretelling markings on the body

in the death of propriety

in the uprising of the promiscuous

in the resurrection of desires

but above all, in this almost terrifying boner about life.
